Bid Description:
The Vermont Agency of Natural Resources (ANR), Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), Dam Safety Program (DSP) is seeking proposals from qualified dam safety engineering consultants experienced with subsurface explorations in earth embankment dams (soil borings, rock cores), geotechnical evaluations (seepage and stability analysis), risk assessment, hydraulic and geologic evaluations (rock erodibility), preparing and carrying out Drilling Invasive Program Plans (DIPP) in accordance with US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Engineer Regulation (ER) 1110-1-1807 – DRILLING IN EARTH EMBANKMENT DAMS AND LEVEEES, and obtaining various regulatory approvals and permits to perform subsurface exploration work for the Wrightsville Dam located in Montpelier and Middlesex, Vermont.
